The Platform 5 series is a huge subwoofer that should only be used by the serious competitor or enthusiast. This subwoofer is capable of extreme power handling and more output than any other subwoofer that we have ever offered. The Platform 5 is a 100 lb. behemoth built with enormous 11″ diameter triple stacked magnets and is the only subwoofer that we offer with a 4″ diameter voice coil. This subwoofer was designed to be the biggest, strongest, loudest subwoofer that we could deliver. It uses the strongest possible magnet grade and an enormous 8 layer voice coil to create an incredibly strong magnetic force capable of moving the extremely stiff suspension to huge excursion and output levels.

Our subwoofers are available in two different performance configurations, Standard and High Performance. The High Performance option will modify the parts used to build the subwoofer to increase the overall power handling and output capability.

This subwoofer should be mounted to an extremely strong baffle with high-strength fasteners.
We offer connections to the subwoofer either via spring loaded terminals or direct connect wiring.
Push Terminals are chrome plated, and are marked with a red and black colors to designate the positive and negative terminals. They offer the simplest installation and provide a nice secure connection.
LARGE Push Terminals are made to accept a single 4ga or dual 8ga wires and use a heavy duty, extra-thick tab bolted to the push pin, to which the leadwires from the voice coil are soldered.
Direct Connect wiring offers the very best connection directly from your amplifiers output wiring to the voice coil of your subwoofer. Our direct connect wiring is securely attached to our interwoven braided lead wire via high temperature solder, then covered with heavy duty heat shrink. You can make your connection to the wiring via the twist and tape method, large wire nuts, crimp connectors, or solder.
XS-Flex is the best of the best! A 100% Pure Oxygen Free Tinned Copper wire, with 735 Strand Count and Soft Touch PVC Casing. XS Flex Cable is True AWG cable. The high strand count and soft touch cable jacket allows the wire to be super flexible and easy to use in any installation. XS-Flex is available in BLUE and CLEAR.
XP Flex Cable is also a True AWG cable. It is made up of 10% Oxygen Free Copper(OFC) 90% Copper Clad Aluminum(CCA), with 735 Strand Count and Soft Touch PVC Casing. XP-Flex is available in BLUE, RED and BLACK.
PSI Flex Cable is made to the same exact standards as XP Flex, but is available in PINK only.

Look no further than the platform 5s if you want ground pounding bass and a badass woofer. These things are monsters! I have 4 of these in a firebird and they are beasts! David does amazing work and has top notch quality and customer service. Definitely worth every penny. Don’t second guess yourself on these 100lb. giants!

Hands down beat subs you can get on the market. David and David alone builds these monsters with the beat parts you can get. I run these in my avalanche on 2 twisted sounds 8.5ks and don’t skip a beat and take awhile to warm up the coils which means no worries on over heating unlike most of the other subs on the market. This sub was beyond my expectations. I was a bit impatient with the build time I must admit. But after having my box built and I just installed it, I’m at a loss for words. Yes it’s currently still in the break in stage on a Soundqubed 4500.1 but this sub takes what it has to offer. I can’t wait til after the break in on the same power to see how it sounds. Thank you PSI for building this sub for me. I will be a repeat customer of this company

So I took y’all’s reviews and said f*ck it! I’ll buy 1. I ended buying 2 more. You know the best part about these subs are….. you can’t break em. I recommend if you get the 12” you absolutely must brace it. The 4-spoke cracked on mine. The 15/ 18” use a 6-Spoke. So I changed the 12” basket to a 15”. I still brace it cuz they heavy AF. I have owned literally probably every manufacturer’s top tier sub. ^ Cake. (Top of the cake)
