PSI-8 subwoofers are available directly on our website with ratings of 400 or 600 watts rms power handling.They are built with high quality 2″ dual voice coils(flatwound in the high performance version), stitched 3 mm interwoven leadwires, push terminals or direct connect leads, 8″ pulp cone with wide roll rubber surround, and rubber mounting gasket.
The versions offered on our website are designed to be used in daily systems where good sound quality and high outputis required. The PSI-8 offers excellent sound quality and can provide exceptional levels of output considering its small size.
PSI-8 subwoofers are also available to be custom built with power ratings from 250-750 watts rms in varying applications from sealed, to ported, infinite baffle, or bandpass in daily systems or for competition systems.
The PSI-8 is designed to use a choice parts selection that offers an incredibly strong, long throw design with exceptional power handling. Other 8″ subwoofers do not offer the same combination of stroke and power handling that the PSI-8 does.
In terms of output, reliability, and quality, these small subwoofers can be compared to subwoofers in a much higher price range. They offer top quality components, adhesives, and assembly. This series sells at roughly the same cost as many imported, low quality subwoofers with weaker, smaller internal parts. I purchased a trio of PSI-8S. I have them in a 2.2ft³ enclosure tuned to around 31hz with 28.5 inch² port area on 1200w rms. These things get down. Nobody believes I’m only using 8s until they see them. If you’re considering getting these things, stop considering and just do it.

First PSI sub. Build quality is outstanding, carbon dish with fuck it logo is perfect. Being used behind the passenger seat in my single cab foreman truck. Ported box with .75 net tuned at about 31 Hz on 400 Watts. Low pass is pretty high at 125 but it blends perfectly with the front doors like this. Asking a lot from this little guy as I listen to all kinds of music from EDM to country to rock to classical. Tuned pretty low but still sounds amazing with all music. VERY musical sub after a bit of tweaking with the crossover and time alignment. Overkill for a work truck but I spend ALOT of time on the freeway and this think slams for an 8. Bit expensive for a 8” sub but well worth it. Have outfitted a few other foreman trucks with a lesser quality sub and was running the same but had to be the loudest! Thank you PSI for the awesome American made sub!

I bought 1 with the carbon dish and hp package for my daily. It is only seeing 500 rms so less then rated everyone thinks I have a pair of 10s or 12s back there. Sound quality is better than expected and they are well worth what PSI is charging.

My first sub was a rocksford fosgate shallow mount 10 that i had under the seat of my pickup, the cone got some damage so i replaced it with a psi-8.
I have it in a tiny .3 ft sealed box and it’s got easily 3x the output and it’s just the standard performance vc and I’m pushing it 100 watts over rms. And the only real downside us that if i blast it full volume on 9db’s of bass boost. Some of my very bass boosted songs can make it bottom out.
And with all that in mind, even with the Canadian exchange rate it was worth every penny. And i think I’ll start saving up to do a rear seat delete and get a pair of psi 18’s next

I got one just to play around with. “They not playin!” Then I got another one. These subs are no joke. I would say PSI subs, from the smallest to the mightiest 18, they get it in! Shyt, I’m going to get a third one while I’m here on the site right now.
